July 14: MORE. PACIFIC. COAST!

You thought that was it? NOPE. Up the PCH was just about the best sights I ever saw. In my life. In a span of 48 hours I saw my first "wild" sea lions, elephant seals and otter. Oh, and REDWOODS. Haven't had a comparable 48 hours since. So. This is a story in pictures. What's to say?

 We tried to eat in this tiny doll house restaurant shown below. Tuck Box. But. It was ridiculous. There were 2 tables of elderly couples and one waitress clearing some dishes. No music. No talking. Everyone stared with hostility as we entered and broke the creepy doll house silence. We sat and the silent hostility lingered. So. 

We ran away.
